Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Google Workspace. Must be available for openings and other events as needed, which may take place over weekends or fall outside normal gallery hours. Aesthetic sensibility and passion for luxury products. Strong attention to detail and creative problem solving. Highly organized with the ability to plan and prioritize. Result-driven with a proactive approach to achieving goals. A passion for high-end home interiors and a keen eye for design. Customer Service oriented mindset and disposition. Great interpersonal skills to coordinate working relationships with potential clients. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate in a premium brand voice with the design community & consumers. Ability to work in a team selling environment. A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a luxury retail sales environment. Support Atelier FM’s team in exhibition preparations and installations as needed. Manage opening and closing checklists, end of day reports, supplies and gallery maintenance. Assist with the development of targets and implement sales strategies to meet Atelier FM’s revenue goals. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activity, and inventory levels. Work collaboratively with the showroom team to achieve common goals. Assist with the development of sales and marketing tools to build brand awareness and drive traffic to the website and gallery. Assist Sales Manager in maintaining all sales tools such as brochures, info sheets etc. Ensure that the products display and visual merchandizing in the gallery is always well maintained, properly displayed and in line with the brand image and to the highest standards. Send out and monitor quotes inquiries and product information. Provide best in class luxury experience and outstanding level of client service including handling customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and in a timely manner. Identify sales opportunities most especially within interior design, architecture firms and high-end furniture galleries & showrooms. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals. Greet customers when they arrive in the gallery and offer friendly, timely and proactive communication as an authority on Atelier FM’s furniture line. Support Atelier FM’s New York team in multiple and diverse areas of work including but not limited to the listed below: The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and a strong passion for high-end design. Reporting to the Owner and/or Sales Manager, the Sales Associate will work on all aspects of sales and customer service ensuring the best client service experience to support the brand positioning. The Sales Associate will support the sales team in achieving all gallery & trade sales while providing an outstanding brand experience for the A&D community and consumer clients.
